The role:
To further develop their product in the marketplace through focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems and Culture in adherance to the company's policies and procedures
Duties:
- Work with the Service Provider Manager on any issues to ensure 100% compliance with EDI services
- Sales activities: Check and update the CRM system following up on opportunities and action items
- Preparing scope & rates for sales
- Customer retention
- Plan following week's sales call plan to meet the KPI's
- Proactively monitor the workflow
- Conduct service provider reviews
- Review temporary labour costs to ensure they are within budget
- Make 5 sales and or retention calls per week
- Management of he fleet operations
- Monitor shipment reports for revenue, expenses, etc
- Review the loss and gain report to monitor changes and take the appropriate action to address customers that are trading less
- Operational training of staff
Requirements:
- Project Management and Change Management skills
- Domestic transport cost structures, vehicle management and transport services experience
- Process mapping and root cause analysis and action plan abilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional people and communcation skills
