About Company :
New Australian owned waste company starting up in Melbourne region covering all areas. The business will be adaptable with 3 depot locations to support drivers. The management team has 40 years experience in the waste industry.
We want to create a family culture in our business with drivers that want to develop across frontlift, rearlift and bulk services. We are looking for adaptable drivers that will help the business grow through high quality customer service.
About Role :
- Operate waste trucks with focus on safety and customer service
- Ability to drive either frontlift, rearlift, hook or hiab truck
- To ensure that your driving licence is current, appropriate and free from any restriction.
- To wear the company supplied uniform and footwear
- To complete the pre and post trip inspections
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary
- Adhere to driving hour restrictions & fatigue management requirements where applicable
Essential Requirements :
- Minimum HR valid licence
- Minimum 1 year experience in waste industry or similar
- Flexibility with start times and overtime
- Pass an acceptable test of driving skills and an aptitude test in relation to the operation of equipment
- Reliability, honesty, professionalism and to be trustworthy
