$130k PACKAGE
This large high profile group of companies is a market leader both within Australia and overseas. It employs circa 5,500 people and has a multi billion dollar turnover.
In Australia it operates many sites and has a unique value system, which promotes seamless value-added manufacturing interaction between different companies within the group. One of the key Victorian manufacturing sites is extremely large and a rare opportunity has arisen for a strategic, highly driven and competent Maintenance Manager. You must have exposure to solid high volume manufacturing in an industrial environment.
The site is accredited to ISO9001 and the manufactured throughput and the head count are both significant. The activity is high volume low cost items, which are produced in long runs via mechanical and chemical processes. The finished products are then on sold to a blue chip client base, usually on a Just In Time program. They can not afford down time.
We seek a dynamic, modern hands on Maintenance Manager who can lead a team of 10 maintenance employees (electricians and mechanical engineers).
- Are you an analytical hands on Maintenance Manager who spends time on the factory floor helping to resolve problems?
- Do you understand how to wring efficiency and effectiveness from a team of people?
- Are you a strongly driven, results orientated leader who aspires to a senior role but have yet to find the organisation that is prepared to give you the pathway?
- Can you take ownership of a hundred million dollars worth of equipment and keep it working?
- Can you manage and administer a substantial predictive and preventative maintenance program?
- Do you hold a formal mechanical engineering qualification, preferably but not essentially a Degree.
