This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Professional to join our dynamic Global Strategic Sourcing team to drive indirect and strategic sourcing to support our businesses located throughout the APAC region. You will utilise your strong analytical skills to provide insightful evaluations to actively seek opportunities throughout the region to deliver strategy and planning for an addressable spend of $200M. Your primary goals will be rationalisation of the supply base and cost savings. The role has direct impact on the financial performance of the businesses through the delivery of spend productivity, savings, and working capital improvement.
Other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identification and prioritisation of cost savings projects
- Lead supplier negotiation in the region
- Development of contracts with appropriate legal protection and advantageous business terms
- Contract Management
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Identifying synergies, best practice and standardisation opportunities

In order to succeed in this role you will have:
- Solid negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes in a large organisation and knowledge of effective technology driven sourcing processes
- Leadership experience in sourcing and/or supplier management including strong managerial and leadership skills to work across all functions and levels of an organisation
- Ability to lead change and develop relationships to remove internal barriers to progress.
- Experience in sourcing indirect materials and services
It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have previous experience in a multi country or global business setting including experience leading global commodity or category teams. Multiple language skills would be a plus.
