We build relationships with farmers across the globe and roast each batch of beans we source with intelligence and care from our Melbourne and Brisbane roastery, supplying Australia’s best cafés with our exclusive speciality blends and microlots.

Currently, we are seeking a Green Bean Coffee Loader to join our production team. This Melbourne based role is responsible for the accurate and timely loading of all green coffee beans into our green coffee silo system to ensure efficient and accurate meeting of our coffee roasting and production schedules. We see this position as an entry-level position with a strong pathway to coffee roasting.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner;
• High level of attention to detail, numeracy and literacy;
• Effective organisation and time management skills with the ability autonomously and meet set deadlines;
• Work in a fast-moving environment, be physically fit and do repetitive heavy lifting;
• Ability to understand and follow SOP's and adhere to written and verbal instructions;
• Forklift license desirable;
• Knowledge or interest in learning more about speciality coffee origins, processing, roasting;
• A can-do team attitude, and willingness to roll your sleeves up!

Key responsibilities will include:

• Enable DIFOT achievement through the accurate and timely loading of green coffee to meet the roasting and production schedule;
• Problem solve machinery and system faults;
• Participate in general roastery proactive maintenance and cleaning schedules;
• General warehouse duties as required;
• Daily monitoring of green stock, ensuring required green is staged and ready for efficient loading;
