As a result of being awarded a new contract with Australia's largest Airline, Star Aviation is seeking a Passenger Service Manager (PSM) who will be responsible for overseeing the team of Passenger Service Officers (PSO) meeting and assisting special needs passengers arriving, departing or transiting at Sydney International Terminal.
As the PSM, you will ensure all PSO's put the customers' needs at the heart of everything they do. Assisting and guiding the special needs customers throughout their journey of the Airport, ensuring they arrive in a safe and timely manner to their destination.
What you'll bring:
- Must have previous management experience
- Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform all duties at a high standard of customer service
- Caring approach to dealing with people
- Reliability, punctuality and organisational skills
- A respectful, friendly and supportive approach
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
- High standards of personal presentation
- Availability to work a rotating shift roster
- Positive attitude
- Basic computer skills
- A valid provisional or full state or territory drivers license
Highly desirable, but not essential:
- Experience within the Aviation/Airline industry
- Previous experience working with people with specific needs
The recruitment process will also require you to pass:
- Medical Check (health & fitness and alcohol & drugs test)
- Security / Background Check including Federal Police Check
