Yusen Logistics is a world-leading total supply chain and logistics solutions provider with 15 locations across Australia and New Zealand.
We are recruiting an Account Coordinator (Inbound) to join our team based in Western Sydney. The Account Coordinator (Inbound) coordinates the activities of the Inbound department, and the team responsible for the counting, processing, inspecting, replenishing and locating of inbound inventory. This role is responsible for overseeing and monitoring team/department processes ensuring full compliance across the assigned contract, and the supervision of the Inbound team, to meet business and client productivity objectives. In addition, the incumbent has responsibility for maintaining procedures, overseeing stocktakes and reconciliations, and reviewing and reporting on KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision, development and direction of reports and effective scheduling of resources, managing performance, providing training and coaching, and coordination of workforce planning
- Ensure all deliveries are received, checked, processed and put away within agreed timelines
- Ensure all transfers are processed immediately upon arrival into warehouse
- Manage the scheduling of deliveries and receiving of inventory items to maximise department efficiency
- Complete all receiving data entry and process damaged materials returns
- Resolve receiving to purchase order discrepancies
- Ensure the accurate processing of all returns-to-vendors (RTVs), chargebacks, transfers and damages based on established policies and procedures
- Maintain orderly, clean and safe Inbound operations work environment
- Communicate and coordinate with Inventory, Outbound and Transport teams
- Implement, monitor, perform and report on Department KPIs – e.g. data accuracy, timeliness, inventory loss/damage, quality assurance
- Assist with regular WMS system audits and maintenance to ensure data accuracy
- Manage the maintenance of customer SLAs to ensure agreed commercial terms are updated to reflect any changes, in collaboration with Account Management
- Manage credit and adjustment processes for customer transactions, ensuring these are processed within company guidelines, and in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsibility for site security, including the opening and closing of the site grounds and maintenance of facility access records and procedures
- Comply with policies and procedures whilst ensuring Workplace Health & Safety and Kaizen principles are adhered to
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct, and report any incidents or breaches of the Code
Skills, Experience, Knowledge required:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated experience and general knowledge of warehousing and administrative processes
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in similar role (preferably within Supply Chain/Logistics/Transport industry)
- Demonstrated people management experience; with the ability to manage, coach and develop team members to build an effective team
- Current and valid Forklift licence
- Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written), and the ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes for the business
- Good interpersonal skills and experience in developing professional working relationships with internal stakeholders from across the business & external stakeholders (customers, partners, suppliers
- Sound understanding of the logistics and transport industry and associated operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time while paying strict attention to detail
