An opportunity exists within the Purchasing Team at the Eastern Health Distribution Centre located in Ringwood for an enthusiastic Supply Administration Officer to assist in purchasing goods and services to support Eastern Health’s activities.

The day to day duties of the Supply Administration Officer include:
- Converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders and sending the purchases orders to the appropriate supplier.
- Maintaining purchase orders that require any system update with ETA, Pricing or other changes.
- Organise customer returns of goods.
- Process requests for new suppliers to be set up on system.
- To respond in a timely fashion to any customer queries.
- Review price on hold reports and rectify to ensure invoices are processed promptly.
- Other duties appropriately requested.
To be successful in the role applicants will have:
- Sound experience in similar role with the use of Oracle (or similar software package).
- Computer literacy and understanding of MS Office and windows based systems (Minimum of Intermediate Level)
- Self-motivated with a methodical, accurate work approach.
- Excellent Organisational skills with demonstrated time management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service of internal and external customers and is committed to effectively meet their needs in a helpful and professional manner.
