Do you have extensive experience in Safeworking in Victoria?
Or you are a Hansignaller/Lookout and would be interested in completing a Traineeship to recieve your Certificate III in Track Protection?
Then Track Protection Australia (TPA) and yourself might be a fit!
TPA has casual and full time positions in the following roles work on Metro, V/Line and ARTC networks:
- Handsignaller
- Lookout
- Metro L3.1, L3.2 & L3.3
Your duties will include but not limited to;
- Perform lookout duties
- Perform handsignaller duties
- Conduct track protection assessments
- Complete and manage permits
- Implement track occupation authorities
- Direct staff at a worksite on or near the track to ensure compliance
- To provide protection of the interface between the rail corridor operations and adjoining trackside activities
- Work a range of shifts including day shift, night shift and weekends
You will require the following:
- Substantial knowledge of Metro, V/Line or ARTC networks.
- Rail Industry Worker Card
- Category 1 Rail Medical
- Idealy 2+ years minimum experience in similar role
