About the Company
Waverley Forklifts is an independently Australian owned business located in Mount Waverley. Over the past forty years, we have grown to be one of the largest fully independent forklift and transport companies in Australia, specializing in Forklift Rentals, Equipment Servicing, Equipment Sales and Machinery Transport.
Due to our continued success and growth, we are expanding our WFL Transport division and currently seeking an experienced and qualified Truck Driver, to join our team at Waverley Forklifts.
The Role:
As part of our Transport Fleet based in Mount Waverley, this role involves the following core duties and functions:
- Loading and unloading machinery safely
- Work safely within company and statutory WH&S requirements
- Maintaining a good standard of personal & vehicle presentation
- Navigating efficiently through Melbourne metro and regional Victoria
- Be a part of a team of new and long term employees committed to continual improvement in a supportive environment
- Well managed induction process and ongoing training
The Right Person for the Role:
The successful candidate must be an individual who is experienced and skilled in the role, embraces challenges and responsibility with enthusiasm and energy. You enjoy a challenge, pride yourself on your professional and approach and possess a positive attitude.
Specifically you display the following:
- Must have a minimum HR licence preferably HC
- Forklift & access equipment experience highly regarded
- Tilt tray operation experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to be reliable & punctual
- Proficiency and recent experience with Roadranger transmission essential
- Forklift or Boom lift licence will be an advantage (but not essential to role)
- Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required
- Good personal presentation
