DESIGNLink Customer Support Officer

The role and you…

Working in our national technical team DesignLINK based in Wetherill Park, you will use your knowledge of the building industry and technical know-how to ensure our customers receive the full value of our products.

Interested in influencing the building industry and having a passion for customer service, you will work with a great team of professionals including builders and architects, working to support the specification of Gyprock® and Cemintel building products in projects across Australia.

Providing phone and email support to design professionals, home renovators and assistance with major projects, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, helping our team to provide a spectacular customer experience.

A day in the life of a Customer Support Officer….

  • You will capture customer and enquiry details in a CRM database and be responsible for managing the integrity of the database to meet KPI’s
  • You will handle first tier technical queries or escalate the enquiry to our team of technical officers
  • You will manage the call queue and engage with the broader DesignLINK team and marketing teams to ensure a customer enquiry is dealt with to the highest standard
  • You will develop monthly reports on call and web enquiry types to share with relevant stakeholders to understand the patterns of our customers and work to provide a great service

To ‘smash it’ and role model our behaviours, you will….

  • Have previous experience working in a call centre and managing a call queue
  • Be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided (You should have plenty of stories and examples to share)
  • Have solid data integrity skills to ensure all data entered into the CRM is correct
  • Be a great all-round communicator and work in a constructive, achievement orientated and collaborative manner
  • Work well in a team environment and have excellent relationship building skills in person and via the telephone
  • Have a experience working in the manufacturing/construction industry within a call centre capacity
  • Hold safety as a high value and have the customer at the heart of all you do
  • Be open to new, getting the job done and having fun along the way
