About the business

Stockmaster Pty Ltd and sister company Cavanagh Transport are industry leading livestock transport company's based in Tamworth and Inverell. The group deploys up to 35 trucks throughout the eastern states of Australia transporting livestock using livestock loading accredited drivers in a fleet with Fatigue Management and Maintenance accreditation. 

About the role

Loading and delivering livestock to sale yards, feedlots, meat processing plants and farms throughout the eastern states of Australia. The long distance nature of the role would ideally suite drivers from the Tamworth, Inverell and Dubbo districts.

• Requires a pleasant and considerate manner with others
• Animal welfare issues when carting livestock is a priority.
• Ability to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the prime movers and trailers
• Ability to identify potential faults and defects and early referral to our accredited maintenance team.
• Ability to make clear and accurate entries on job records and daily driver work diary
• Follow company WHS, speed, fatigue and maintenance programs

Benefits and perks

Kilometer rate plus allowances, potential to earn $ 110K plus

Skills and experience

• Qualifications

• MC licence
• 2 years relevant industry experience

Desirables

• Basic Fatigue Management Certificate
• Previous experience carting and/or handling livestock
• Livestock Loading Certification
• Experience with cattle and sheep
• Experience with convertible livestock trailers and B-Doubles
