Contracts and Procurement Officer required for this busy team based in Midland.

Your new company
This busy team is based in Midland.

Your new role
Reporting to the Contracts and Procurement Manager.

• Provide operational support on a daily basis to all staff on Purchasing, Tendering, Contract Management and Administration and supplier communications.
• Provide the Contracts and Procurement business unit with professional services to contribute towards the achievement of its strategic and operational targets.
• Provide a customer service to stakeholders both internal and external
• Assist in the preparation of Tender/Quote/Contract documentation including preparation, production, distribution and data entry.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, as well as organisational policies and procedures
• Sound knowledge of administrative procedures with considerable experience
• Experience in providing a quality assurance role in terms of correspondence management, including editing and proof reading complex documents.
• Contract management skills of a level sufficient to advise staff on contractual issues, manage a contract variation process and assist with contractor reviews and in contract negotiations
