Working from their Head Office in Oakleigh and reporting to the Quality Manager and DC Managers, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and self motivated individual to launchpad their career in quality management and business process improvement.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
The Quality Management & Continuous Improvement Coordinator is a new pivotal role that has been created to assist operations management drive an effective quality management system and to increase business performance across all ANZ sites.
Quality Aspect of the Role Involves:
- Assisting the Technical Applications Manager with complaint investigation and processing including the management of SFDC case status, validate and prepare root cause responses, undertake Laboratory & RTS testing.
- Assisting the quality manager to prepare of weekly and monthly quality reporting for Australia & New Zealand.
The Continuous Improvement Aspect of the Role Involves:
- Working closely with the Distribution Centre Managers to drive continuous improvement and best practices through Australia & New Zealand.
- Develop and train local site leaders in Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Lead and/or assist management in key Kaizen Events.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering disciplines
- 1-2 years’ experience with a Quality Management system or in a lab, or some understanding of quality principles in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Genuine passion for continuous improvement, Lean and/or Six Sigma application
- Capable and proficient with spreadsheets, databases, word processing
