You will be working in a small team responsible in managing the day to day dispatch of the company’s 35 fleets, resolve any issues that may arise, find replacements vehicle as required, manage scheduling and bookings for new and existing customers, communicate effectively with our drivers and customers, and other adhoc duties. 

We are looking for a quick thinking individual with exceptional communication skills and able to work other pressure.

You will be reporting directly to Our General Manager.

You must be able to work in the afternoon shift up to 7pm at night

This position will provide opportunities for growth into our Management team as an Operation Manager.

Your responsibility includes:

- Ensuring day to day is completed and any outstanding jobs are cleared.
- organising bookings and communicate jobs to drivers
- First point contact with all drivers to make sure all jobs are done properly and efficiently
- Building relationship with our customer through clear communication both verbally and written
- Understanding all legislations on Chain of Responsible laws and making sure all compliance are applied

To Be Successful in this Role, You need the Following:

- Minimum one year as fleet controller operator or similar roles
- Ability to prioritise workload on demanding work environment
- Basic Computer skills Microsoft office, email google drive and data entry
- Good Knowledge of Melb area,
- Experience with Transport company Freight 20/20 is an advantage
- Forklift license is an advantage

This position requires direct dealing with drivers, staff and customers.
