Marley Spoon is bringing delightful, market fresh and easy cooking back to the people. Our chefs create inspiring and mouthwatering recipes every week. You select what you would like to cook and we deliver the recipes and all the ingredients you need. We use technology to re-invent the food supply chain while reducing unethical food waste and directly connecting consumers with quality producers. In order to achieve this, we are solving challenging problems in taste profiling, behaviour prediction and real-time logistics.

Marley Spoon is currently operating in Australia, the US, and Europe. To manage our rapid growth, we are looking for entrepreneurial Operations Coordinator for our team in Sydney.
Your job:
- Build Marley Spoon Australia fulfilment operations for meeting growth targets, develop and execute a strategic plan for Capital expenditure.
- Automation of production processes for reducing labour cost and increasing site production capacity.
- Continual improvement of production processes for improving productivity.
- Collaborate with the production team for day-to-day operations, provide technical support for the facility from end-to-end and achieve all operational objectives.
- Develop, train and coach team members to enable career progression
- Collaborate with other production teams around the world, develop and share best practices and drive innovation of global processes
- Work with key stakeholders (procurement, operations and culinary) to ensure seamless end-to-end workflow and constantly strive for operational excellence
- Identify potential to increase efficiency
- Live and evangelize the Marley Spoon values and lead the team through rapid growth
- Expect and engage trouble as soon as you can spot it

- New process design and process optimisation
- Ability to develop and introduce best practices in the production process and constantly streamline operations
- Experience in all aspects of a fulfilment centre including pick & pack operations, receiving and outbound processes
- Strong attention to detail and passion for perfection
- Deep passion for technology and automation.
- 2-3+ years of relevant operations, engineering and Capital Projects.
- University degree with a focus on Operations, Supply Chain, Production is a plus
- Experience in FMCG / Ultra Fresh products a plus
