As result of continued growth and securing  new business, GAC Australia is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Canning Vale office as:

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR & OPERATIONS

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Loading and unloading of Cargo
  • Assist in overall warehouse duties
  • Data Entry
  • Job Invoicing and processing of supplier and internal invoices 
  • Assist in the preparation of Disbursement & Final invoices
  • Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes. Act on behalf of customer for customs matters.
  • Liaising with Customers Carriers, Service Providers and Overseas Partners and ensuring Customer Satisfaction
  • Carry out all other activities as assigned by Logistics Manager / Managing Director
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport with customers and service providers.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Logistics and Freight Forwarding experience preferred
  • A current fork lift licence / A current drivers licence 
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good time management skills, attention to detail, with sound analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team Oriented
  • MS Office Intermediate skills
