2XM Recruit currently have multiple positions open for experienced Mechanical Fitters from a Rail, Aviation and or Ex-Armed Forces background to work on an exciting rail project based in Melbourne, Victoria. These vacancies are available for immediate starts.
The roles involve retro fit work to a fleet of vehicles with tasks including modifications and Rectifying Defects. More detail will be shared in person and at interview stage. These positions will be appointed on a long term casual basis offering successful candidates secure work.
Criteria:
- Trade Certification - Mechanical.
- Aviation | Armed Forces | Rail background – associated industries will be considered
- Previous Experience working on Rolling Stock or within a Rail Depot / Environment - advantageous.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatic and Fluid Power.
- Ability work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Mechanical issues.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
