Position Summary:

Work in the warehouse with a focus across all functions, from Goods inwards, stock put away, shelf refill, picking and dispatch.

Drive overall warehouse performance to growth levels that keep ahead of Sales and Customer Service growth. Analyse history and trends to support the business objectives and make strategic improvements to optimise warehouse productivity improvements on a continuous basis.

Warehouse position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• A hands-on position requiring an energetic 'lead by example' approach.
• Include safe work practices to all warehouse processes & methodologies
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with all team members (aka play nice with others, live the values.)
• Attend meetings & presentations as set by the business
• Show basic understanding & capabilities across all areas of warehouse process.
• Liaise with all areas of the business to assist & resolve enquiries.
• Take responsibility for meeting all our dispatch promises and KPI's.
• Pick and Pack orders
• Load trucks
• Unload trucks and occasionally containers, place goods in racking as required, following all safe work instructions
• Delivery of goods within metropolitan Adelaide, occasionally country runs are required
• Current MR/HR Driver's License would be advantageous but not essential
• Maintain standards of housekeeping in warehouse area ensuring work area is clean and tidy, without trip or other hazards
• Some heavy lifting is required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the below skill set:

Essential

• High fitness level - high amounts of walking required
• Customer focused, with good communication skills (verbal & written).
• A passion for serving others.
• Good IT knowledge
• Previous Stores experience including Pick/Pack, Forklift and Delivery Driving
• Competent and Licensed Forklift Operator
• Competent and Licensed Order Picker Operator

Preferred

• WMS/ CRM experience
• RF technology experience
• PC Skills & knowledge of various software programs
• Forklift licence

• Good organisational skills
• Able to deal with high pressure situations
