The Role:

The position requires an experienced spare parts interpreter with a flexible and independent attitude.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Attending to all spare parts enquiries;
• Ensuring correct identification of the components required;
• Picking and packing parts
• Despatching of parts to customers in a timely manner;
• Communicating the progress of the sales order to the customer;
• Stock Control including monthly rotating stocktakes;
• Managing all freight accounts including liaising with company reps;
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work place; and
• Adhering to the company's quality and OH&S policies.

Your Profile:

• Good knowledge of parts operation,
• Previous experience as parts interpreter  (trucks or bus industry preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner
• Team orientated
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Hands-on attitude
• Have a dedication to excellent customer service with a view to developing strong after sales service and supply relationships with bus and coach operators;
• Have a better than average understanding of spare parts fitted to heavy vehicles, in particular, buses and coaches;
• Have good computer literacy skills;
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of stock control;
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently
