The Role
The purpose of this role is to develop those with the potential for embracing the ideals of old school values and bring out the best in present day ideas, provide excellent customer service and work well in a team. The ideal candidate would be someone who possesses a great attitude and is responsive to learning new skills in a trade focussed team environment.
Initially you will be trained in the delivery of plumbing goods in a UTE, representing the company offering excellent customer service to those you deliver to. As you show progress, you will be then trained for frontline customer facing roles in the trade counter where you will learn more about their products and the art of helping customers buy the right products. This growth strategy will require the following attributes in you:
- A keenness to learn and achieve, a determination to succeed - a strong can-do attitude
- A respect for hard work, pride in purpose and a steady head on your shoulders
- Previous experience in delivery driving would be a big plus, but being an entry level position all you need is a clean and current full / manual driving license to drive in Victoria
- Good communication and clear speaking skills with the ability to listen carefully
- Prepared to do the hard yakka as some products to be loaded on your UTE can be bulky (you won’t be made to carry loads that are above your capacity)
- A keenness to grow and progress in the organisation.
