The Opportunity
Privigen is a world class intravenous immunoglobulin product used to treat human immune deficiencies and severe autoimmune diseases. As an integral member of the new Turner Privigen Facility team at Broadmeadows, you will run the bulk protein purification process and operations. You will participate in with ensuring all operational documentation and processes are managed and maintained in line with GMP and CSL expectations.
The Role
Your focus will be on ensuring all operational and technical aspects of manufacturing are completed to specifications and timelines. You will be involved in managing a complex plasma based manufacturing process through a series of automated control steps, as well as routine maintenance and cleaning of the facility. There is also a high degree of documentation involved in this role.
You will be involved with:
- Ensuring your own and others health, safety and security at work.
- Running CIP, SIP and Protein Purification processes
- Ensuring GMP processes are maintained and SOPs followed strictly
- Documenting processes and deviations
- Controlling and maintaining product integrity using process automation
- General housekeeping and area cleanliness
To be successful:
- Strong dedication to the job, willingness for self-development, and the ability to work independently and operate effectively as part of a team are all essential. These roles are manufacturing focused and we would love to hear from candidates with a long term commitment to a manufacturing career
- Experience in a GMP environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills and good computer literacy Degree qualification desirable
- Must have a respectful personality
- Willing to work as per a rotating morning/afternoon/weekend work roster
