A rare opportunity at our Braeside facility has become available for an experienced Machine Operator to join our day shift team.
  
Primary Responsibilities:
  

• Run and operate machinery and equipment to produce timely, accurate and high-quality end products that meet customer service level agreements (SLAs)
• Operating a fork lift
• Identify errors, make corrections and consult with the Leading Hand to ensure high quality control
• Follow quality management system, OHS and operating policies and procedures and
• Pack and dispatch duties and other ad hoc duties as requested

  
The ideal candidate:
  

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and rectify problems with processes and equipment (candidates will be required to demonstrate this through the interview process)
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Good levels of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
• Sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Quality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to perform a variety of duties and work overtime if required
• Hold a current forklift license
