The opportunity?
As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, Toll is investing heavily in technology and innovation. This role will see you using complex BI and data management tools for strategic analysis across operations and commercial. You will use insight, problem solving and project management skills to manage a large pipeline of activity and assist senior level decision making by applying BI thinking to complex programs affecting all parts of the group.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing the BI / Data Warehouse capability to support analysis and influence change
- Design and develop BI tools and reporting to improve cost saving and CI initiatives
- Liaising with executive teams to deliver insights through big data
- Making recommendations on simplified reporting methods and data mining efficiency
- Deriving value and establishing credibility for data findings and complex reporting
The ideal candidate?
This is a business critical role and presents an opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a major Toll division. You will have demonstrated experience using BI tools in a commercial or operational capacity.
This is not an IT function. You will be working “in” the business helping to influence commercial direction.
A background in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly regarded but not essential. You will possess superior negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus.
