Our well established client is one of the market leaders within the steel industry located in St Mary’s. They are looking to add staff to their very stable workforce. These opportunities are due to the securing of new ongoing projects and contracts. This is an ongoing day shift role for the right candidate with a casual pay rate of $26.14 per hour.
To be successful for this role you will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within the steel metal industry – Desired however not essential
- Steel machine operating experience – desired but not essential
- Overhead gantry crane ticket - desired however not essential
- Forklift license – desired however not essential
- Previous laboring experience
- Order picking
- Setting up production machines
- Excellent communication skills both over the phone & face to face
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to learn as you go
- Exceptional adherence to site safety and safe work procedures
The ideal must have their own reliable transport as public transport is not available at the site locations
