6-12 months initial contract available now with a major Oil & Gas client for an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator.
Duties will include Warehouse Management, Despatch & Distribution in a fast paced safety critical environment.
Essential areas of the role are
Managing despatch process for various pack sizes Communication with customers regarding delivery & inventory availability.Daily carrier bookings. Maintaining targets Familiarity with dangerous goods would be beneficial.
Although employment will initially be on a 6 month contract this could extend way beyond this period.
The ideal Candidate will have well rounded Warehouse, Transportation and Despatch experience and will be able to coordinate a team across these functions. A working knowledge of SAP Warehouse would be advantageous but not essential however well refined Microsoft skills including Outlook is essential.
A key part of this role will be very effective customer service as you will be interfacing with customers with regards to orders, deliveries, transport schedules etc.
