THE ROLE:
Located at our head office in Mulgrave and reporting to the Parts Logistics Manager, you will primarily support our Australian dealer network with in depth automotive spare parts interpretation, customer service, logistical and inventory knowledge. Your role will include, but not be limited to;
  • Building rapport and being the main contact for the dealership parts network and key stakeholders, e.g. inbound transport and logistics providers.
  • Providing comprehensive spare-parts logistics support service to our dealer network.
  • Providing advanced-level parts support for all dealers and all internal departments.
  • Processing airway bills and bills of lading, in conjunction with commercial relationships with customs brokers.
  • Steering dealer orders and resolution of queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting your team members with ad-hoc admin and support.
 
WHO YOU ARE:
Professionally:
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in automotive parts wholesale / retail.
  • Experience with electronic parts cataloging interpretation.
  • Experience with material safety data requirements and database maintenance.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with strong customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills; ability to work under pressure on multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines.
  • Intermediate / advanced skills in MS Office, in particular Excel.  
  • Excellent attention to detail.
Personally:
  • Passionate about the automotive industry, with a keen interest in automobile technology.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Understand and have a strong and in-depth working knowledge of automotive spare parts and their interdependencies with associated components.
