IRT Catering, a division of the IRT Group is in the process of developing our business of the future. Our Unanderra facility produces over 40,000 home-style and nutritious meals each week. We have a team of dedicated professionals who ensure we deliver the highest quality products for our customers.

Your Role: We have an opportunity for an experienced Driver to join our team. This position reports to the General Manager, this is a key role that will ensure all goods that are dispatched are received on time whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
  • Checking the vehicle condition and safety prior to loading
  • Adhering to road rules and other legislative requirements
  • Ensuring correct quantities are delivered by checking bags and trays against delivery dockets
  • Delivering a high level of customer service
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, including temperature check charts are completed and returned at the end of each shift.

To be successful you will have:

  • A current MR licence
  • Demonstrated previous experience driving heavy vehicles delivering goods
  • Proven experience with driving refrigerated loads
  • Strong customer service skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
  • An ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
