ABOUT THE ROLE
Continuous growth and internal promotions have created an opportunity for an experienced Airfreight specialist to join this fast-paced team. The role, Airfreight Supervisor will be tasked with the day to day running a busy, high-volume airfreight department. With 4 direct reports, the role requires a candidate equally versed in staff engagement, mentoring, import and export operations, quoting, invoicing and end of month activities. Previous experience supervisor staff a must for this opportunity.

DUTIES
• Ensure staff action all import operations on time to ensure no delays (weekends included)
• Process export operations in a timely manner to strong deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Supervise staff through training, guidance and mentoring to ensure a settled and motivated team
• Maintain finance compliance through invoicing and whips/accruals report management
• Client visits with the commercial team to build strong relationships

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years’ experience in Airfreight operations (import + export)
• Previous exposure with airfreight wholesale operations preferred
• Exposure to supervising staff in an operations department
• Demonstrated ability to maintain commercial relationships
• Strong CW1 exposure looked upon strongly
