ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our client is an iconic Australian company employing thousands of people around the world in supply chain solutions.
They currently have a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for experienced high reach forklift drivers to work in their distribution center based in Truganina.
This is not just a temporary job - our client is looking for long term staff to become an integral member of their team.
Successful applicants will be guaranteed 40 hours per week with no weekend work, and an ongoing permanent role after 6 months.
SHIFTS:
Day shift ($28.75+)
3:30pm - 11:00pm
Please note: these are temp rates only, and will be subject to change once a permanent position has been obtained.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid forklift licence (LF)
- Proven High Reach Forklift Experience
- Double deep experience highly regarded
- FMCG experience highly regarded
- Be available 5 days a week for day shift
- Confidently pass a National Police Check
- Attention to detail
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Driving reach forklift and double deep forklift (30% of workload)
- Manually pick and pack orders (70% of the workload)
- Lift items up to 25kgs as required
- General warehouse duties
