Your new role
This Project Management role will see you reporting to the Managing Director providing guidance in regards to quality, cost and schedule, engineering and production of defence engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing large scale complex projects successfully and to timely completion. You will have experience developing the execution and technical aspects of the project while liaising with all levels of stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have good people management skills and experience in the areas of strategic and operational planning within a Defence engineering and production environment.
- Formal qualifications in Mechatronics (ideally) or a strong background in Electronics
- A minimum of five years' experience in a production support role in an engineering capacity
- Detailed knowledge and experience in manufacturing methodologies and design for manufacturing
You will have formal engineering experience along with recently leading and managing a small to medium sized team. In addition to your strong technical engineering knowledge you will have excellent skills in task scheduling, compliance, subcontractor and stakeholder management. Due to the industry environment you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
