About our client:

Our client is seeking a proven Dispatch Supervisor, eager to demonstrate their leadership skills and ability to contribute to the overall business objectives and goals. The position will have 2 direct reports and has overall responsibility for all staff in the Dispatch area and will be charged with ensuring and enhancing all dispatch operations in line with schedules and timeslots.
Required skills & attributes:
- Ability to plan, manage and co-ordinate the dispatch team to maximise and meet business objectives.
- Ability to manage, motivate and drive the Dispatch Team to achieve state and individual KPI’s
- Management of rosters and dispatch planning in line with production schedules.
- Effectively recruit and performance manage across all levels of the Dispatch Team
- Strong mentoring skills and demonstrable experience in motivating a team of Dispatch personnel.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of transport/Dispatch operations with a minimum 5yrs experience.
- Ability to forecast, implement and manage budgets
- Highly professional presentation and mannerisms
- A strong belief and awareness of Health and Safety within the workplace.
