About the Role

The Avionics Technicians will perform bench and component level maintenance of electronic equipment to industries' highest quality standards. Throughout the application of repair and test services you will provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

There will be a strong focus on quality and adherence to regulatory compliance in all activities while ensuring a high level of product safety is being delivered for customers.

While maintaining a sound knowledge of company procedures, Quality Manual and specific workshop guidelines, you will ensure effective operations of equipment, tooling and physical resources to meet the company and customer needs. All while developing and maintaining knowledge of, and adhere to, the Site Quality, Safety Management and EH&S policies and other compliance requirements.

About You

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent, as well as having experience in component level repairs on electronic and electro-mechanical aeronautical product including soldering, testing, replacing and fault-finding, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems. You will need to complete technical service reports and communicate effectively with peers and management.

Some other skills will include:

  • A track record of compliance adherence, including EHS and regulatory requirements.
  • An effective communicator with success working in a team environment and communicating with peers and customers.
  • Exposure to aeronautical workshop environment.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
