Boral Cement Limited (Victoria) operates a modern dry process cement manufacturing plant and has a network of our own vehicles throughout Victoria and Southern New South Wales. Currently we are seeking and experienced B-Double Driver to join our Distribution Team. The role will be based either at Lyndhurst. The successful applicant must be prepared to work night shift up to 50% of the time, be prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
Skills/experience:
- A strong safety focus;
- Relevant driving and construction industry experience (preferred);
- Must hold a MC licence with at least 5 years driving experience;
- Must be willing to participate in training as directed; eg: certificate III and basic fatigue;
- Ability to complete documentation associated with collection and delivery of product;
- Superior customer focus with excellent communication skills;
- Self-motivated;
- Professional and courteous manner;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations; and
- A willingness to participate in a rotating shift and be prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
