About the Opportunity:
Our Client is seeking an Experienced Warehouse hands and Forklift Drivers to join their expert team in Melbourne. This is a rewarding and diverse role, where your primary responsibility will be to ensure event hire equipment is accurately processed and delivered, whilst maintaining strong Customer service onsite.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Manual Handling of Products
- Using Hand Tools
- Answering inbound enquiries
- Counting, cleaning and QA of stock
- Packing & Palletising of Stock
- Receiving / despatch of hire stock
- Keeping up in a fast paced/repetitive work environment
- Forklift driving as required
- Event set up and takedowns
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
The Successful Person:
- Be capable of repetitive heavy lifting
- MUST be 18+ years old
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s license
- Hold a current forklift license
- Have prior Events and or Staging experience
- Have proven experience in a customer facing role
- MUST be willing to complete a background check
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- MSUT be a good team player & willing to work well within a group
