All Purpose Transport (APT) is a strong successful organisation with over 40 years of ongoing growth. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced and driven manager to take ownership of a business unit within APT.
Key tasks include building the business, overseeing operations and sales, customer relations, training, administration and the day-to-day issues of maintaining business and managing a profit centre as if it is your own business.
The best person for this role is someone who has proven business and sales management with P&L responsibility of an operational business unit, from transport or a similar service driven industry. You will have a hands on approach, can do style and ideally have experience in attracting and dealing with owner drivers.
If you are a well organised, logical thinker with excellent people management skills and you thrive on building a business and being well rewarded for it, this opportunity will suit you.
The remuneration package includes a vehicle allowance, and profit share. It will appeal to a driven and focused management professional. The ideal candidate will also possess a forklift licence.
