The role

Joining the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, this role is critical to the overall success of our supplier engagement program; focused on supplier performance through engagement and collaboration.

Your role is to lead the Central Ordering functions to minimise manual orders, maintain economic order quantities (EOQ’s) and maximise inbound cartons per pallet.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• replenishment and inbound planning experience in retail or fast moving consumer goods
• experience in influencing others without direct authority, through data management and creating forums for collaboration to drive continuous improvement
• ability to manage within a fast-paced, environment which requires comfort in frequent decision making
• degree qualification in relevant discipline such as Commerce, Supply Chain Management
• broad Supply Chain knowledge gained in a related industry, with a working understanding of distribution and transport
• strong business acumen and commercial skills coupled with excellent data analysis capabilities
• outstanding influencing and stakeholder management skills
• a sound working understanding of supply chain IT systems

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• manage the processes for manual ordering, holdbacks, purchase Order adjustments across and similar for all each business unit (product categories)
• adjust and communicate supplier roster changes for public holidays and seasonal events which impact typical distribution centre rosters
• ensure order quantity settings are aligned to changing demand for most efficient end-to-end flow of goods across all business units
• ensure smooth volume flow and forward visibility for product groups which operate outside of our automated ordering and replenishment system
