The Organisation
A world leader in plant development and distribution, you will have the opportunity to work for an Australian owned company who are a large established wholesaler nursery. They are a global family of breeders and researchers providing the Australian horticultural industry with the most commercially viable and innovative plants from around the world.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planting of seedlings
- Operating the seed sowing machines
- Harvesting of plants (Cuttings using scalpels)
- Gapping & Sticking
- General nursery work
Skills and Experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to complete fine hand work as work can be quite fiddly.
- MUST be fast paced worker
- Proven work history in the industry
- A qualification in Horticulture is a bonus
- Previous experience operating machinery is preferred
Please note, the site is hard to get to by public transport so you will need to be able to drive to work or be driven to work.
