Hanson is seeking enthusiastic and professional HC/MC Drivers to join our Brisbane fleet of Tipper trucks for a night shift role based at Wolffdene. You will have responsibility for delivering quarry material to our internal metro concrete plants and to external job sites.
 
Tasks and duties will include:

• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and mechanically sound.
• Driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements.
• Carrying out daily cleaning of the truck.
• Having a sufficient working knowledge of the product and to comply with the relevant delivery standards.
• Passing on customer concerns to Central Despatch or Company Sales Representatives
• Maintenance tasks including yard duties.

 
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must

• Have a valid HC/MC licence.  
• Have a current copy of driving history.
• Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Have minimum 12 months commercial truck driving experience.
• Have a Construction Card (White Card)
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be capable and confident in your capability.
• Be able to work with a flexible roster including Saturdays.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Hanson premises.
