The opportunity

This opportunity would suit someone with an eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills and a real willingness to learn about our customers, product and operations. Our leading 'AMC' brand, requires someone with excellent administration and customer service skills to ensure our sales and logistics operations runs smoothly within our friendly Hope Valley office/warehouse.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Process client orders via our system and coordinate dispatch and delivery of customer orders
  • Ensure all quotations, sales and stock movements are recorded in our system and that they are reviewed and processed in a timely manner
  • Assist with the purchase, transportation and importation of finished product and raw materials from suppliers
  • Daily liaison with customers, suppliers, internal stakeholders, courier companies and transportation companies via phone, face to face and email

To be successful

The successful candidate will have previous experience providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work autonomously.  A high attention to detail, strong time management and superior organisational skills will ensure your success. Your knowledge of purchasing, transport, shipping and warehousing functions are essential. Additional requirements include:

  • Valid WA drivers licence
  • Ability to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders whilst demonstrating a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in using MS Excel, Outlook and Word with the ability to analyse information
  • Ability to multi task, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing demands which require development of new processes / procedures
  • Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

It would be beneficial if you possess the following attributes, however these are not essential:

  • Warehousing experience
  • Inventory experience
  • Transport logistics experience
  • Experience in export documentation and logistics
  • Forklift License
