The Freshmax Group is a leading Australasian fresh produce marketer and service provider, located across Australia and New Zealand with growth opportunities globally.
We are looking for an experienced National Pallet Controller to join our team based in Derrimut, Melbourne.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Overall management of pallet (Loscam and Chep) and crates (Viscount – WW & Savi – Coles) across the company's Australian businesses
- Ensure pallet transfers, pallet hire costs and recoveries are managed and processed in accordance with pallet supplier requirements
- Oversee and ensure all Freshmax Group sites comply with the National Pallet procedures and provide training as required
- Manage and maintain the Viscount (WW crate) and Savi (Coles crate) system in 2ic with relation to rejections/corrections and transfers
- Minimise and control costs associated with pallet, and crate suppliers
- Prevent minimal loss of pallet and crates
- Create and implement effective control procedures across all sites, including training and monitoring Site Managers/ Stock Controllers/Operational staff
- Keying in all dockets into databases for all accounts
Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the management of pallets and crates within the FMCG industry. You will have experience using pallet control software and ideally experience with 2ic would be preferable. ideally you will have experience in the use of Coles and Woolworths crate software portals.
In addition candidates will have a high level of attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry skills and the ability to interact with people across all levels within the organisation.
