A clear leader in the market this leading food manufacturing business has delivered excellent results through a strong focus on reducing cost through better processes and driving plant reliability. To continue developing in this area and keep delivering great results they are seeking the services of a Factory Manager to manage their key manufacturing facility.
  
The Role
  
Reporting to the State Operations Manager in this fast paced environment your focus will be on:

• Leading a large group of manufacturing personal plus developing Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Driving a safety first culture, 5S and better machine uptime
• Ensure OH&S and quality systems and processes are followed and production costs remain within budget.
• Improve engagement and culture through leadership, training and being a good mentor for the production team.
• Monitor employee performance and implement employee improvement programs

Your Background

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience within a complex manufacturing business as a Production/Manufacturing Manager. You will be degree qualified and have strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate your staff to consistently meet and exceed expectations whilst providing a fun and safe environment. There is a need to positively contribute to operational excellence by initiating continuous improvement projects and then delivering the changes effectively.
