About the company
This leading building supplier provides quality housing products to their clients throughout Australia. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for an Assembler to join their team.
About the role
The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday 6am-2:15pm, joining the team as an on-hired employee. The opportunity for a permanent role exists after a successful 3-6 month probationary period, along with medical and police checks. Experience in a manufacturing, glass or timber environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
Duties
- General labouring
- Assembling aluminium frames
- Using hand and power tools
Skills and experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual lifting
- Assembly experience (ideally with timber/aluminium)
- Confident working with hand/power tools including nail guns and drills
- Great communication skills
