Position is based out of Salisbury in Brisbane.
Work includes drop deck, extendable, and open top trailer loads carting a variety of freight including, precast concrete, crane components and general freight. Local and interstate work.
Applicants are required to be able to work in a team environment but will also need to have the ability to work on their own. A high level of professionalism and customer service will be expected.
Skills and Responsibilities
The successful applicants must have the following attributes:
- Experience in load restraint including the use of dogs and chains
- Experience with oversized loads both long and wide
- Be willing to wear full PPE at times including long sleeve shirt, long pants, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves etc
- Be willing to keep equipment clean and tidy at all times and take pride in presentation
- Be able to produce neat and tidy paperwork/job dockets on a weekly basis
- Be 100% drug and alcohol free and willing to undertake mandatory screening
- Have own transport to and from work
- Be available for away work when required
