Gallay Medical & Scientific Pty Ltd is an established business and leading provider of medical, pharmaceutical and scientific equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand. Located in Mulgrave, we are looking for a responsible and reliable store person to join our expanding team. Some manual lifting is required.
You will responsible for:
- Packing and dispatching customer orders
- Receiving and unpacking stock
- Checking and loading consignments
- Assisting with stock take
- Data entry
- General warehouse duties
We are looking for:
- A positive can do attitude
- Forklift licence and previous experience in warehousing
- Previous experience using an ERP system
- Excellent organisational skills
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of the respective OH&S and transportation regulations with respect to chemical storage, handling and transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Fluent English with good written and verbal communication skills
- A self motivated and flexible attitude
- A strong, stable work history
A certificate II or higher in Warehousing & Distribution or a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role would be advantageous.
