Advantage Pharmacy Group is a successful innovative and growing pharmacy banner group that services over 200 Pharmacies across Australia.

The banner has several brands that come under The Advantage umbrella, they are Chemist Discount Centres, Advantage Pharmacies and selected Priceline Pharmacies.

The role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods to provide quality customer service to head office staff and staff in store whilst adhering to efficient standardised processes and workplace health and safety.

The role requires the successful individual to work in an environment which is fast paced and requires you to think on your feet. It requires you to work in a warehouse environment and outdoors when required. This role will require you to do heavy lifting whilst using the appropriate equipment for these tasks. This is a full time role which is Monday to Friday varying from 8.30am to 5.00pm and 8.30am to 4.30pm, shifts to manage warehouse requirements. The warehouse is based at the Advantage Group's support office which is located in Hallam, Victoria.

The day to day tasks and responsibilities required for this role however not limited to the following:

• Goods receiving and dispatch
• Order pick and pack
• Prepare goods for dispatch via external courier
• Delivery of a high standard of customer service
• Conducting regular cycle counts
• Evaluation of space availability in storage areas and identifying problem areas
• General warehouse housekeeping
• Hands on in relation to manual labor
• Follow all Advantage Pharmacies policies and procedures
• Workplace Health Safety and Security
• Data entry
• Ensuring goods are ready in a timely, efficient  manner ready for dispatch whilst maintaining accuracy

Experience and skills required:

• A team player with a hardworking, enthusiastic and  positive attitude
• An excellent communicator
• Experience in a similar warehouse role in pick-n-pack and stock movement is preferred
• Stock control and stock counts
• A good level of competence in computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite mainly excel
• A knowledge and or experience using RF scan package or similar warehousing systems will be a  definite advantage
• The ability to plan and execute tasks in a timely manner to meet required delivery deadlines
• Hands on approach with the ability to work without constant supervision
• A good understanding of compliance standards in warehouse safety and manual handling
• Maintaining and improving housekeeping within the warehouse area of responsibility
• Dispatch and receipting of product
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and duties
• Forklift License Essential
• Reliable & willing to work
