We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of manufacturing industry and will have the ability to work closely with a cross functional leadership team to ensure the facility is effective and efficient. 

Role Responsibilities

• Drive a strong Health and Safety and GMP culture across the team
• Provide guidance and leadership through role modelling company shared values and promoting a high-performance culture through teamwork, motivation and respect
• Challenge the norm to drive comprehensive continuous improvements
• Ensure an effective handover takes place between day and afternoon shift
• Work cross-functionally to ensure site performs to a high standard on shift
• Ensure team members are cross skilled appropriately and performing to a high standard of performance, able to manage underperformance

Technical, Interpersonal Competencies & Experience Required:

• Strong Safety and Quality acumen (HACCP and GMP knowledge)
• Working knowledge of LEAN/TPM
• Leadership experience
• Proven experience in driving performance, delivering results and cost savings
• Ability to navigate and lead a team through change
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong prioritization and decision making
• Team player whilst able to work effectively unsupervised
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Effective delegation skills
