We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our progressive team as a production coordinator. In this role, you will work with the production team, maintain production schedules, and handle a variety of other tasks that ensure production and deliveries run smoothly. You will report to the production manager. If you are well-organized, skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, then you may be an excellent candidate for this position.
Production Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties to support directors, producers, and production managers
- Manage calendars
- Provide telephone coverage; take messages and direct calls
- Maintain budgets and track billing
- Organize off-site work
- Schedule and arrange deliveries.
- Supervise production team and direct their daily activities
- Collaborate with production managers to meet the needs of the company
- Participate in short- and long-term planning aligned with goals set by managers
- Work with all departments that contribute to production
- Be able to work individually as well as in a team environment.
Production Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a production coordinator or production assistant
- Familiarity with all aspects of production to facilitate effective communication
- Superb organizational skills and time management
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment to
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
- Talent for anticipating needs
- Professional judgment for handling confidential information
- Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette
- Adept at general administrative tasks like budgeting, data entry, and word processing
- Physically fit
- Be capable of creative problem solving
- Previous experience in hands-on manufacturing, including use of hand tools and machinery
- Forklift licence essential. MR truck licence beneficial.
