Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Storeperson will work towards supporting the Company's objective of customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
This individual will be involved in a variety of warehouse functions including:
- Unloads and stores raw materials or finished product correctly
- Locates correct bin location or storage areas in the Warehouse
- Liaise with Laboratory on Raw Material inspection or any other quality issues
- Participates in stocktaking and product cycle counts
- Picks orders in accordance with SOPs
- Prepares orders for despatch
- Completes paperwork for receipt, picking and despatch of product
- Undertakes cleaning and housekeeping activities as required
- Organizes transport, stock transfers and maintains Prism inventory control system
- Receipting of goods into ERP system
- Entry of cycle counts into ERP system
- Preparation of manifests for transfer of goods
- Assist in the production area of the plant as required
- Management of container deliveries and pick-ups
Key Requirements:
- Forklift drivers licence.
- Experience in warehousing and associated documentation.
- Knowledge of Inventory Systems.
- Experience in Cycle count activities.
- Experience in Inventory Management.
- Intermediate knowledge of Personal Computer and related based software. (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in Inventory recording via online information systems. (Prism or like application).
