Process worker/ Machine operator

We currently have a number of opportunities to join an innovative and market leading manufacturer of complementary health care products. Based in Minto, our client is experiencing rapid growth and currently looking for mechanically minded technicians to join their manufacturing team. These positions will be ongoing with the opportunity for permanency.

As a new addition to the team, you will be given full training across all procedures including; dispensing, granulating, mixing, compression, and coating. In a typical day’s work, you will be involved in the machine set up process, maintenance and production line changeovers. In addition, you will also be responsible for batch documentation and completing quality checks in correlation to GMP standards.

To be successful you will need:

• Previous experience within the pharmaceutical, food or FMCG industry
• Experience in a GMP / TGA environment
• Sound numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete batch documentation
• High attention to detail
• Mechanically minded 
• Ability to lift up to 25kgs
• Reliable and have a strong work ethic
• Own reliable transport (not assessable via public transport)
• Current forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
